I am organising a charity fundraiser for Scottish Mental Health charities: SAMH and COSCA. I took it upon myself to organise this event to help people who are suffering with a mental health issue, or who have family or friends suffering. After losing two family members as a result of suicide and after battling with depression and PTSD for the past 4 years myself, I realised that I would not be here today, in recovery, if it were not for the help of charities like this. They gave me advice and more importantly they gave my family the support and explanaitions they needed to help me through.
